Love is in the Air

This week has been a long, but rewarding week. For the beginning of the week I was struggling to come up with a post for this week, but as I will get into the week ended up filled with action.

Valentine’s Weekend

My wife and I planned on going out of town for Valentine’s weekend, and it ended up being a lot of fun. I am pretty sure I ended up with a sinus infection before we left, but it ended up still being a blast. My wife looked absolutely amazing as always, and I was stunned and absolutely delighted to spend another Valentine’s with her.

We stayed a a casino resort so we did gamble a bit, but did not win. I did however pay for some pizza we could bring up to the room after having fun in the casino.

House Hunting

The second that that made this weekly blog possible is our house hunting journey. On Thursday morning I was checking the local listings, and I noticed one that was on Zillow and the list our realtor sent us. Looking further it looked it has just about everything we would want in a house. We where able to get an offer accepted before the weekend was fully started, and now we just have a few more things to happen and then we can hopefully be in a bigger house. It will be a bit of a lifestyle change as the house is not in the city, but I am looking forward to the fun. Being able to have a house full of family, friends, and laughter is what I am after.

This week I want to say that I learned more about perseverance. Both at work and in my personal life I persevered and came out stronger than before.

One thing you can take away from a situation is a learning experience. This can sometimes be a reflection on past experiences as sometimes in the moment you can’t learn right away.
